Your sales stages, not an internal default.
fieldbrain writes to Dynamics 365 Sales exactly the stage your team configured in your own instance.
The technical precision
Before every write, fieldbrain reads your actual salesstage option set through Dynamics' own metadata API. An earlier version wrote fieldbrain's internal stage name directly into it. Never a valid Dynamics value. That was replaced with a real, metadata-verified option instead of continuing to guess.
What actually syncs
What stays unchanged: fieldbrain only ever writes the fields from the table above. Other objects, your own automations, layouts, or reports in your CRM stay untouched. Nothing gets deleted, renamed, or restructured, only added to.
A day with Dynamics 365
After a customer conversation, a rep records a short summary. fieldbrain matches it to the right opportunity and writes the sales stage that actually exists in your Dynamics configuration. For IT and sales leadership, that means the pipeline in Dynamics stays accurate without anyone manually tracking which stage currently applies.
Does fieldbrain write an internal system value or our real sales stage?
Your real one. fieldbrain reads your configured salesstage OptionSet via the Dynamics metadata API before writing.
What happens if Dynamics has a brief outage?
fieldbrain automatically retries the write with increasing wait time. A short, temporary error on Dynamics' side doesn't result in a lost update.
Security & Permissions
Your connection belongs exclusively to your account. No other user, not even on the same team, can access it.
Sync is part of the Professional plan and above. Without an active plan it stays inactive, nothing runs in the background.
Disconnect it and sync stops immediately. Data already transferred stays where it is, nothing is retroactively deleted.
