A competitor mention becomes a real label. Not a note nobody reads.
fieldbrain extends your own Pipedrive structure instead of creating a second, parallel place to look.
The technical precision
When fieldbrain wants to flag an insight as a label, a mentioned competitor, say, it first checks whether that label already exists in your Pipedrive configuration. Only if it doesn't does fieldbrain create it as a real, new option on the deal label field, directly through Pipedrive's own API. The label is then just as filterable as any your team created themselves.
What actually syncs
What stays unchanged: fieldbrain only ever writes the fields from the table above. Other objects, your own automations, layouts, or reports in your CRM stay untouched. Nothing gets deleted, renamed, or restructured, only added to.
A day with Pipedrive
A rep mentions a competitor in passing after a call. fieldbrain recognizes it as a relevant signal and adds it as a real, filterable label on the deal, not a sentence buried in a notes field. A sales manager later filtering for every deal involving that competitor finds them reliably, because the label is a real Pipedrive field, not a text search.
Does a mentioned competitor just end up as free text on the deal?
No. fieldbrain creates a real, reusable label directly on the deal's label field, via the Pipedrive API, not text that gets lost when filtering.
What happens if Pipedrive hits a rate limit?
fieldbrain automatically retries the write with increasing wait time. A brief limit on Pipedrive's side doesn't cause an update to be lost.
Security & Permissions
Your connection belongs exclusively to your account. No other user, not even on the same team, can access it.
Sync is part of the Professional plan and above. Without an active plan it stays inactive, nothing runs in the background.
Disconnect it and sync stops immediately. Data already transferred stays where it is, nothing is retroactively deleted.
